Virginians, look out for Bradley Rees in the upcoming primaries

I stumbled upon this article about Bradley Rees today and was happy to see that a true FairTax supporter is looking toward public office.  I don’t know much about Mr. Rees, but his support for the FairTax and enthusiasm for ridding Washington of lobbyists and special interests seem to be right up our alley here at FreeFairTaxBook.org.

Anyone have more information on this guy?

  1. Bradley S. Rees Says:

Hello! I stumbled across this post this morning. First of all, thanks for the mention. Secondly, I’ll give a little background: I have been a staunch advocate of the FairTax for almost 7 years, nearly 5 of which were spent as Chief Correspondence Coordinator (about 1 year), then Community Coordinator (almost 4 years) for Americans For Fair Taxation in the Lynchburg, VA area. During that time, I built our local grassroots network from a few dozen to almost a thousand active and vocal FairTax advocates, and had a weekly “FairTax Update” segment on our local talk radio station (WLNI 105.9FM), which ran during tax season (late February through mid-April) for three straight years, reaching tens of thousands of Central Virginia residents.

For more information, please visit my website ( http://ReesForCongress.com ). Please spread the word to the FairTax nation, as well. The Republican establishment here in Virginia’s 5th District is not on board with the FairTax and I’m running as the anti-establishment candidate with no money. (Hey, it worked pretty well for Huckabee, right?) ;D The FairTax is the cornerstone of my campaign, and it is capturing the imagination of the people. I believe it is the ONLY solution to our financial problems as a nation.

    Thanks again,
    Bradley S. Rees
